Local vol­un­teers who act together with inter­ested landown­ers to facil­i­tate the restora­tion of habi­tat impor­tant to fish and wildlife and to sup­port the econ­omy and qual­ity of life of our communities. The District partnered with the Council to complete the North-Santiam Drought Contingency plan. Funded and approved by the US Bureau of Reclamation.

Marion Soil and Water Conservation District has their own Landowner Assistance Program. Eligible applicants can complete a grant application form and may be awarded up to $7500.00 for projects related to water quantity, water quality, soils, wetlands and invasive plants.
